Special Events Bagpiper
I have played the bagpipes for many special events, including anniversary parties, retirement parties, plain ol’ parties, St. Patrick’s Day events, Pitt-Greensburg’s La Cultura dinner, and Reformation Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church in Irwin, Pa. I have delighted audiences as the King’s bagpiper for the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival since 2008, appearing with the festival in Pittsburgh’s Celebrate the Seasons and St. Patrick’s Day parades.
Around Pittsburgh, I have played at various venues — including Claddagh, Molly Brannigan’s, OTB Bicycle Cafe, Salatino’s River House Cafe — and I have performed with myriad Pittsburgh musicians, including to a sold-out Diesel crowd with Gene the Werewolf. Since 2010, I have led the Survivors’ Lap at the Relay for Life of Pittsburgh East.

Couldn’t have asked for a better treat on St Pats parade day! Sean on the bagpipes is a great addition to any special event. We will definitely be asking him back soon!
We were lucky enough to have Sean play during St. Patrick’s Day at the Peters Township Public Library. He was a huge hit with all of our patrons: adults, children and teenagers alike. Since then, we have had numerous patrons ask to have him back! I could not be more thrilled with how the event turned out, thanks to Sean’s professionalism, friendliness and outstanding musical talent. We will hopefully be able to have him return in the near future.
